what is there
Photography is an exercise in noticing, which serves as both exploration as well as documentation, often being reflective in nature.
I am interested in capturing the world as it is, focusing on mundane and subtle details. I capture photos from the a detached and passive perspective, deliberately maintaining distance from the landscape and subjects.
The themes I explore include mass tourism, feral pigeons, artificial lights, order and decay, and coldness. I organise my work into chromatically and thematically consistent collections to achieve an atmospheric narrative and a deliberate sense of structure.
